Oh yes, we hear you!

Those complaints from staff about being uncomfortable in their workwear, or worse, they just don't bother wearing it ... and with so many options on the supplier website, how are you supposed to choose?  If that wasn't enough, constant talk of new legislation... and maybe an unanounced inspection from the HSE.

We Understand...Ordering PPE can be daunting.

Here's a few simple suggestions that may resonate with the challenges you face:

• HOW DO I SELECT THE MOST SUITABLE PRODUCTS?
• Ask an industry safety expert to visit your site and assess the risks.  They can recommend the correct and most appropriate workwear for the job - with wearer comfort in mind too.
• HOW DO I NAVIGATE SUPPLIER WEBSITES WITH SO MANY OPTIONS?
• Use a supplier for your PPE that offers a trade portal where you can quickly see and purchase your own selection of products - individual workers can login and order their allowance too.  If you have embroided / branded workwear this could all be set up on your portal as well so it's quick and simple to order
• WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT COMPLAINTS OF UNCOMFORTABLE WORKWEAR OR POOR HEALTH?
• In this situation, there is nearly always something that can be done, it may be as simple as a pair of insoles to support high arches, or looking at a new glove with better dexterity, or just providing a professional hand cream... a chat with a discerning PPE specialist could make all the difference.
