CleanAIR is our recommended powered air purifying respiratory system. It is based on the principle of overpressure of the filtered air in the breathing zone. The system consists of a powered air respirator which is installed on the wearer’s belt and filtrates the air taken from the surrounding environment through the efficient particle, gas or combined filters. The purified air is delivered through the breathing tube into a protective mask or hood. The overpressure inside the system prevents the hazardous substances from entering the breathing zone. This mild overpressure at the same time ensures the wearer’s comfort, even with long-term use, as the wearer is not forced to overcome the breathing resistance of the filter.

Bitrex Sensitivity solution 2.5ml
Qualitative Fit Testing (QLFT) requires the use of equipment specified in BS ISO 16975-3 and relies on a wearer''s taste response to a bitter or sweet tasting test solution to determine whether or not a facepiece provides an adequate fit. If QLFT is carried out correctly then any test solution detected by the wearer can be assumed to have come from face seal leakage, indicating a poor fit.

3M™ Combination Filter CF32 ABEK2P3 R D DT-4045E provides protection against combined particulates, organic and inorganic gases and vapours, acid gases and vapours, and ammonia and its derivatives. It is designed for use with certain 3M™ tight-fitting respirators in negative pressure mode as well as 3M™ Powered Air Respirator System, PF-600 Series. For effective protection against combined particulates, organic and inorganic gases and vapours, acid gases and vapours, and ammonia and its derivatives, use 3M™ Combination Filter CF32 ABEK2P3 R D DT-4045E. Suitable for use with certain 3M™ half and full-face tight-fitting respirators in negative-pressure mode as well as 3M™ Powered Air Respirator System, PF-600 Series. This combination filter protects against gases and vapours from organic compounds with a boiling point above 65 °C, inorganic gases and vapours, and acid gases and vapours. It also protects against ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives, as well as solid and liquid particles, toxic and radioactive particles, micro-organisms (e.g., bacteria and viruses) and enzymes. Note: A2 classifcation in negative pressure mode. A1 classifcation when used with approved powered air systems.
